Functional Domes and Pan Tilt Heads

Surveillance Domes are fast becoming the favourite choice for pan, tilt and zoom applications as they offer a number of advantages over other common systems. Exceptionally high pan speeds of up to 100°/s are common place, small componentry, covert positioning and ease of installation make a dome a very attractive choice in many situations.

The technology being applied to such products is improving continually, with features such as multi-protocol support, inbuilt receivers and privacy zones being added to many models.

There are a few disadvantages which may rule out the choice of a dome, these include the inability for large zoom lenses to be fitted, the lack of provision for Infra Red lamps. There are a number of different versions available from us.

Pan and tilt heads make it possible to substantially increase the angle covered by a stationary camera. As a result, it is often possible to use less cameras. However, it is absolutely necessary that the pan and tilt heads function perfectly, which is the case for all our products. They feature state-of-the-art technology, outstanding design and are suitable for a wide range of applications.

For years, pan and tilt heads designed to bear the load on the side have been found to be ideal for indoor and outdoor applications. They are available for medium to heavy loads. Additionally, the outdoor models have a high IP rating. The entire range combines outstanding technology with equally outstanding design. Units are available with our without potentiometers, heating and autopan. Integrated receiver circuit boards reduce the number of components that have to be installed and therefore also reduce installation time.

Appropriate mounting units for walls or masts permit safe, reliable installation of pan and tilt heads even under difficult conditions. Various control systems are available, including everything from simple controls to sophisticated matrix systems.
